Oakwood Waits
The Oakwood Waits, Raleigh's premiere Dickens-era-costumed vocal ensemble,
is celebrating its 26th holiday season this year! Join us December 13th, 2009 at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church, Raleigh for our annual benefit concert. We are pleased to announce that, once again, all proceeds from the concert will be donated to Hospice of Wake County.
Thanks to your generosity at last year's 25th Anniversary Concert (reviewed here) , we were able to raise $2,585 for Hospice.

We hope to see you at one of our numerous public performances this season!

Each year since 1984, citizens of Raleigh and the surrounding area have looked forward to hearing the Oakwood Waits' harmonious a cappella stylings. Decked out in authentic 1840s attire, they perform for parades, public concerts, and private holiday gatherings.

These 17 singers are among the finest vocalists in the area, and they bring a wealth of musical and theatrical talent to every performance.

The Waits are available to sing at your event during Christmas or at other times of the year by special request. If you'd like more information about the Oakwood Waits or you'd like to order a cd of our favorite holiday selections, you can contact Us. To book all or some of our singers for your event, you can book the Waits here.
